Fitnation Gym sits on Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Street in Al Rawda, Ajman. We opened with a simple idea: a gym should be a place where people know your name, where the coaches are on the floor, and where the equipment is there to be used rather than admired.
The floor covers everything from free weights and machines to a full functional area. Alongside it runs a boxing programme that takes people from their first guard through to sparring, and a kids programme that has quietly become one of the things we are proudest of.
We open at 6 AM and close in the middle of the night, because shift workers, students and parents all train at different hours. And every month there is a challenge running — a team lift, a pull-up ladder, something to pull the room together.
